XP
Submersible Gamma Ray Probe
Designed
to be used with the ICS-4000e Radionuclide Identifier, the XP probe
contains a 10x10x1 CdTe detector and a charge sensitive preamplifier
mounted in a 1" diameter x 6" long housing. The XP probe can be used with up to 500' of cable providing a high resolution spectrometer
for a variety of measurements that would otherwise be impossible. The
ICS-4000e Radioisotope Identifier provides a 4000-channel multichannel
analyzer and LCD to accurately display labquality spectra of gamma ray
photons with energies from 10keV to 2MeV. Built-in software provides isotope
identification and dose rate information. Two megabytes of flash memory
provide non-volatile storage for hundreds of spectra. Spectra and other
data can be downloaded to a PC via RS-232. Powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion
battery pack, the unit will provide up to 24 hours of continuous measurement
on a single charge. The battery pack is removable, and can be replaced
with an auxiliary power pack for extended operation.
