XRF Corporation Wins an R & D 100 Award!
XRF Corporation is proud to announce it has received the prestigious
"R & D 100 Award" for the development of the ICS-4000 isotope
characterization spectrometer by R & D Magazine. This award recognizes
the ICS-4000 as one of the 100 most technologically significant products
for 2000. The ICS-4000 combines CZT detector with a 4000 channel MCA,
allowing the collection of high resolution
gamma and x-ray spectra. Isotope identification software, a dose-meter,
rate-meter and ample memory to store hundreds of measurements make the
ICS-4000 the most versatile device of its kind available.

XRF Showcases the ICS-4000 at the Annual HPS Meeting
XRF Corporation presented the new ICS-4000 Isotope Characterization Spectrometer
to an enthusiastic crowd at the Annual Health Physics Society Meeting
in Cleveland Ohio this June. Attendees were impressed by the use of CZT
detector technology combined with a powerful 4000 channel MCA to generate
superior high resolution gamma-ray spectra. Of particular interest was
the expansive isotope ID capabilities, including gamma emitters with energies
as low as 10 keV.
