The ICS-4000 automatically identifies and classifies radioactive isotopes into Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), Medical Radioactive Isotopes, Industrial Radioactive Isotopes and Special Nuclear Material (SNM). This feature allows waste management professionals to determine whether the radioactive material must be stored for decay or transferred to a low level radioactive waste broker for disposition.
